About Swiss Guest House

The oldest hotel establishment in Bumthang, the Swiss Guesthouse is practically a heritage site, with rich history since 1970s. The old structure of the house in the seventies belonged to older sister of the 1st king of Bhutan. The guest house spread over an apple orchard offers a tranquil farmhouse experience. The hotel is run by a Swiss family who has been living in Bhutan for the last three decades and has successfully managed to combine local design with European comfort to ensure optimum guest comfort.
